Okay, I've had this aversion to calling it Spring around here, especially after last weeks freezing temps, thank you very much Mother Nature, yes those little tender plants that were hanging out on the deck are now toast. Kaput. Killed. Dead. For Pete's sake it was 80 degrees out there when I dragged all those heavy pots out there. I should have known better. I got fooled.
Today, I think I gained some of my gardening confidence back. It warmed up. It smelled like Spring. Deep inhale, cough, sneezle, sneeze and run to the house for an antihistamine. The car is covered in yellow. It's pollen season, therefore, it has to be Spring. The little pond feature out front looks like it is covered in gold dust. Not quite shirt sleeve weather, but close.
I mowed today. The scary back yard. Looks like the dandelions exploded back there. If the neighbors aren't complaining, they will be when all those little yellow blooms start sending out all those little parachutes. I figure we can have a weedy family reunion sometime around July. I just love sharing seeds!
